ANGLIA organizes German courses for children, teenagers and adults. The courses are organized in accordance with the curriculum, which is tailored to specific age. All language skills are equally represented in teaching the German language. Grammar and vocabulary are taught systematically.
All courses in our school are in accordance with GER standards. (GER = Der Gemeinsame europäische Referenzrahmen für Sprachen) Nowadays, GER is regarded as a chart or a scale in which the values of linguistic competence (skills) are given. These competences describe different levels of language ability from A1, for beginners, up to C2, for those who have mastered a language. In this way, all those who in any way participate in teaching and assessment process (students, teachers, coaches, etc..) can easily see at what level of competence an individual is. GER also enables employers, educational institutions and others to easily compare internationally recognized exams, required for a specific job or education, with exams that are currently being carried out in their environment.
GER scale of levels:
C2- Höchststufe
C1 - Höchststufe
B2 - Mittelhochstufe
B1 - Mittelstufe
A2 - Grundstufe 2
A1 - Grundstufe 1
Courses are organized for groups of 8-14 students who are older than 15. Classes of 90 minutes are held three times a week, and the length of the course is 4 months. At the request of the students, the number of classes can be increased in order to shorten the duration of the course.
The course programmes combine contemporary and traditional approaches to learning German. They are based on teamwork, as well as on work in pairs. In this course, students will develop all language skills.
After completion of the courses, the students will be able to take the internationally recognized Goethe exams Start Deutsch 1, Start Deutsch 2 or Goethe Zertifikat B1.
